MixAmp Pro TR Optical Audio cutting out?

Hi! I noticed today that when playing Destiny with my friend that the audio from the optical output (the PS4) randomly cut out for like 4 seconds. I could still heat my friend on TeamSpeak on PC (I have the USB hooked from the MixAmp to the PC for PC audio) so it was only the optical that cut out.

It has happened twice so far and it got me worried, is this normal?
