I have a wireless mixamp and transmitter, couple of years old now. I've had an issue with my transmitter optical-in input jack for quite a while now in that it is very loose. The optical cable can move around freely whilst connected to the transmitter. Unfortunately, due to this looseness, there's a lot of interference going on (ie. lots of crackling/popping etc), and its only after delicately moving the cable around to find a 'sweet spot' in the input jack that I can hear any sound,...
