My Astro A50 base station is giving me a signal on WIFI called "AstroHS-ST" what is it? What can I do with it? And how do I know the security password for it?, also can I use the headsets for anything other than a PC/console? And the base station doesn't power on unless it's plugged into a PC, I mean a power source doesn't do the job, it needs an actual active PC. is that normal? I thought if I could power the base station I could use the headsets for anything through the auxiliary cord.

A40 No Sound
If I recall correctly, I have the Astro A40 2011 Audio System (I know, very old). I have used it for PS3 and currently PS4. I never had any problems until now. I was in the middle of playing Rainbow Six Siege with a friend and all of my audio just stopped working. I couldn't hear the game or my friend. A50 Gen 3 loose power switch - build quality concerns....
Anyone else noticing a slightly loose power switch on the A50 Gen 3 headset?
This is my second A50, first one was exchanged due to a defective volume wheel.
The headset is flawless and I am loving every minute of it, sounds and works brilliantly, but I am starting to have a few slight concerns with its build quality now. And build quality was one of the main reasons I bought it and spent $400 AUD on it.
I have noticed that the headset power switch is 'loose' and rattles in its compartment...

Cant download the firmware update v5037 for my astro a50 gen 1s as it always says no device connected. The mic can sync and connect to the mixamp and output or input sound. I have been trying all yesterday and today and cant find the solution. The orange light also isnt showing up when i charge but its not the wires as i have 3 different usb to micro usb, all of which work to update my mixamp, but no combination works for the headset. PS4 and PC wont connect?
Hi there, I recently bought a pc/ps4 astro a50 gen 3 headset and i don't know what to do?
For some reason i can't connect it to PS4 and PC together.
- I can plug it in PC and put it on PC mode to get sound
- I can plug it in PS4 and put it on PS4 mode to get sound
But it seems the headset doesn't give any bluetooth signals? I can't add a bluetooth device on it ( one that runs through the AUX to give a device bluetooth )

Here's my experience with these 300.00 garbage headphones
1. Purchased at Best Buy 4 days ago.
2. Got them home, updated all firmware
3. Used for 2 days
4. On 3rd day, headphone LED was red while on charger, left overnight to charge, only had 2 bars of charge.
5. Removed headset from charger, headphone LED remained red, POWER SWITCH WAS OFF.
6. I could not turn them on or off using the switch.
7. Followed hard reset instructions learned from forum (game+dolby).
8. Reseated them back into charger, RED bolt just blinked repeatedly.
9. Disconnected USB...

My ASTRO A50 Wireless Xbox One Edition headphones stopped working
Just like in the title my astros stopped working, I was playing games a wanted to go watch tv but when i got back the LED wasn't working and when I tried to play a song it didn't work but if I open the ASTRO Command Center the connect when on the charging base but not when taken off it.

New Astro A50 Battery Draining even when its off
Hello,
I noticed that the battery of my 1 week old astro a50 gen 3 drains even when the headset is off.
Last night for example the headset had 71 % battery after my sleep(10 hours later) it only had 59 % battery left.
Does anyone else has this problem and is there a solution?
Is it a software or a hardware problem?
I am able to give my headset back to the retail until Thursday. Should I do this or is there a solution coming?
