Astro A40 TR & Mix Amp Pro TR audio setting in game?

Hi

not 100% on this so hope you guys cna help. I have Astro A40 TR & Mix Amp Pro TR. In game do i select 5.1 Audio or 7.1 Audio? Can the Mixamp use the 7.1 or does it have to be 5.1 which is upscaled

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to talk through the PS4 party chat with game audio while having audio of PC. One of my friends can't talk through discord because of a reason so we have to talk through the party chat of PS4. I want to listen and watch streams while I play on my PS4. It's fine if there isn't a way but it would help me.

Hallo habe das Astro A50 mit der Basisstation, ein echt geiles Headset alles läuft außer das meine Basisstation sich kurz ausschaltet für 1-2 Sek und natürlich mein Headset auch. Woran kann das liegen? Die Basisstation nimmt die Stromquelle von der Ps4 pro. Ich danke mich im voraus!

So I have been dealing with a slight issue with my setup that I would like to fix... currently I am using A40 TRs with a mix amp pro. The USB is plugged into my PC so I can use discord and skype, and the optical is plugged into my xbone. The problem I have run into is that I cannot use game or party chat through my xbox with only the optical plugged into it. I have tried all sorts of combos, but none have worked. The only thing I can think of is getting another mixamp and plugging one into the...

Hi!

I’m pretty much satisfied with sound and build quality of A40s but during the game I can barely hear my teammates. Tried to mute the game and just leave chat voice didn’t help. Checked all the obvious stuff like console mode, how cables are plugged, chat only settings, etc. no use. Switching to Sony Gold headset and chat voice is good. Is there any solution to manage chat/game volume? I can’t believe Tournament Ready headsets can have problem with chat.

so i have an astro a40 tr and a mixamp pro tr but i have to use my mobile cable to connect the headset to the mixamp because i dont have an inline tr mute cable.. could that be the reason why my astro is leaking too much sound or is it the headset that is just like this. it is a problem for me cause my friends can hear for example when i listen to loud music and my mic picks up the sound which comes from the headset.

A50 (Gen 3) Xbox One Black OPs 2 Backward Compatible

Hey there,

I was wondering if anyone is experiencing zero in game mic while playing the recently released backwards compatible version of this game? Mic is fine with other games and through Xbox One. However there is no mic to be had within Black Ops 2. I have reset my base and am running the latest firmware. I am assuming it has to do with it being an older gen game but I would like to confirm with other players are having the same issue and if per chance there is a fix?

A50's overriding soundbar on PS4

I have my sound bar plugged in via optical from PS4 to TV directly, and my Astro A50 optical plugged from optical out into my base station. Yet, whenever I turn off my headset, the sound doesn't automatically switch back over to the soundbar; it stays on the headset even when theres no sound being transmitted. Am I doing something wrong?
