If I recall correctly, I have the Astro A40 2011 Audio System (I know, very old). I have used it for PS3 and currently PS4. I never had any problems until now. I was in the middle of playing Rainbow Six Siege with a friend and all of my audio just stopped working. I couldn't hear the game or my friend. However, my friend messaged me and told me that they could still hear me. I connected my headset directly to my controller and I could hear my friend again but I had to play with the game volume...

Device not detected when installing firmware update v5307 on my astro gen 1s

Cant download the firmware update v5037 for my astro a50 gen 1s as it always says no device connected. The mic can sync and connect to the mixamp and output or input sound. I have been trying all yesterday and today and cant find the solution. The orange light also isnt showing up when i charge but its not the wires as i have 3 different usb to micro usb, all of which work to update my mixamp, but no combination works for the headset. Have tried completely draining the battery and that didnt...

Astro A50 Gen 3 VR chat volume

Hi,
I used to use the astro a40 with my playstation vr and was able to use the chat cable and plug it into the connector on the PS VR cable, so i had full control still over volume mixer between game and chat. The a50 does not have this because it's USB, and plugging the cable in from the base station to the vr headset does not work, the ps4 setting is in all all audio which is default with the in ear 3d earphones that come with VR.

The problem is that in party chat, the chat volume totally...

Hey guys, I've seen a few people with the problem of the headset not hitting the pins to connect to the base station. I have not seen a fix for this though and it's quite annoying some times to fiddle with the headset to get it to sit right.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

Hello,

I've recently just bought the A50 Wireless Headset for the PS4/PC (with Charging Dock) and I attempted to update the firmware on the ACC. However, when doing so I was given an error and redirected back to the main screen of the ACC. I have the loading dock connected to the PC with the USB cord; have the switch specifically set to PC.

i recently got astro gaming a40 with the TR mixamp.. connected them to my ps4 and an AUX cable from stream to my elgato hd60 capture card.. i got an annoying buzzing sound coming out doing nothing! any help?

I have the gen 3 astro a50 for playstation and PC l, but I have a problem. The battery keeps draining even when not in use. I will fully charged my headset say the night before, sometimes I don't play for a couple of days, when I finally do decide to play, I turn it on and the battery is completely DEAD. Anybody else experiencing this problem?

My headset is working fine with game audio but I can not talk in party chat. It randomly works for a few seconds then doesn't work again. I have updated the mixamp and my controller and it still doesn't work. Anyone have any suggestions?

MIC PROBLEM (ps4)

Hi, i have the a40+mixamp tr for a couple of days; Amazing product but i have an issue with the mic;
when i enable it the Others ( in a party or in game chat) listen an echo of their voices.
Also me listen an echo of my voice but really low than the Others one.
I've:
-mic level on 1/4 more or less ( in ps4 settings)
-general headset audio on the half ( ps4 settings)
-mic level a little less than the half ( on the mixamp software)
-sidetones on the max.

please help!!!!
